On October 24th, education leaders from ONC and DCMO component districts, SUNY Oneonta, and Hartwick, elected officials, and industry/community partners gathered at SUNY Oneonta to continue the conversation about NYSED's regionalization initiative. ONC BOCES District Superintendent, Dr. Catherine Huber, facilitated a panel from NYSED who shared information about the goals of regionalization and how schools and communities will engage in the work of charting the future of education in the region. Senior Deputy Commissioner for Education Policy, Dr. Jeff Matteson, Assistant Commissioner for Office of Education Policy, David Frank, Senior Advisor for Policy Research & Development, Alison Armour-Garb, and Special Projects Assistant in P20 Policy Research & Development, Nicole Lennon served as panelists.
