Mechatronics students with instructor and advisory committee member with their prototype.

Senior Mechatronics students are designing and creating a robotic crimping machine. The machine is a proof of concept that is being built for the NYSID CREATE competition. Creekside Industries will use this device in Oneonta to help produce feminine products to meet the NYS mandate of having these products available for all students.

The students have met with David DiNicola and Erin Seeley from ARC Otsego and Advisory Member, Luke Anderson, from Bartell Machinery to discuss their prototype.

ONC Mechatronics will present the machine at the NYSID Symposium in Albany on April 8th, and we wish them the best of luck!
